| THE BRIEFS – Sex objects (CD BYO 2004) This one really was a flashback for us old farts who once listened to the late 70:s punkscene. It’s all there the attitude, the looks and the sound. I couldn’t stop playing this one after I’d get the first listen on it. This Seattle band has showed the world that it is some real good old punk in Seattle and not only grunch. Can’t even believe that they are Americans because the sound is so typically Brittish. Songtitels like “Sex Objects”, “Destroy The USA” & “Antisocial” talk for themselves. So if you are into the 77 punkscene, it can’t be better, this is the thing for you. |
