PISTOL GRIP-The shots from a kalico rose (BYO Records 2001)

PISTOL GRIP-The shots from a kalico rose (BYO Records 2001) 13 songs cd with the L.A band Pistol Grip. A band that's been around since 97 I've heard and this is their second album as I get it. It's a version of 3 chords punk with influences from Oi! And the 77 punk. Much 80:s over this and sometimes you can perceive a little bit from the Bad Religion sort of genre in the songs. Very cool vocals lot of chorus singing, harmonies and sing along punk. I get more and more nostalgic by the music and the vocals and the hole thing makes me more and more happy. Where the fuck has this music been, but anyway here it is again. It's good and the record is only getting better the more I listen to it. The cd starts with full action the song "Cruxifiction Politix" with a refrain full of good old street punk vibrations. Then I jump around like a complete maniac howling refrain Burn, Burn down the country oooaaah in "Aristocratic state" in "Clustrophobia" I can sense a RockīnīRoll piano more there the mess with my brain in this great ass kicking song.
