| ROCK AGAINST BUSH VOL 2 - Comp (Fat wreck records 2004) This second Rock against bush starts with some good song of more melodic punkrock. And as the first this one's jumping around in different genres, so we get skapunk, 77 style of best sort, Irish folkpunk and even hardcore like songs are showing up on it. This oneīs got more even material compared to the first one. 28 songs full of kick arse and a extra dvd full of this and that, films and humour sequences. A lot of this material are unreleased or "hard to get songs". In my opinion this is a better record than the first one. And this is a cd taking stand against Bush, the same as the first one did, but it is a good record to. " Bad religion: Let them eat war" melodic punk catchy as always and with great harmonies. "Flogging Molly: Drunken lullabies" superb song that makes your mind want to go down the pub and fill you up with beer and whiskey. Some sort of Irish style folkpunkrock I would like to call it. "Foo fighters: Gas chamber" I have never liked them before but this sounds like good old American, noisy rawpunk and there are a lot of other good bands, here are a few Green day, Operation ivy, Dropkick Murphys, The Unseen, Rancid, The Dwarves and a lot of otherīs. |
